Yesterday, the fifth batch of national level specialized, refined, and new "little giant" enterprises was officially released to the public, and our city has three more enterprises on the list. So far, 11 enterprises in the city have successively been awarded the national level specialized, refined, special and new "little giants", far higher than similar cities in the surrounding areas.

These three companies are: Hubei Tuoying New Materials Co., Ltd., Hubei Zhanpeng New Materials Co., Ltd., and Hubei Xinlanlan New Materials Co., Ltd.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that the specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative "little giants" represent small and medium-sized industrial enterprises with "specialization, refinement, distinctiveness, and novelty" characteristics. They have advantages in research and development, markets for products, effective management, and potential for development. Through cultivation, they are expected to eventually become "giants" in the industry.

Participating in the evaluation is a competition. The shortlisted companies have demonstrated brilliant performance. For example, Hubei Tuoying New Materials Co., Ltd. has invested a huge amount of funds to build a research team, introduced international advanced fully automated production lines, and spent 7 years developing functional films, non-woven fabric composite materials, and other materials. The products have obtained Nielsen testing certification in the United States and Centrocot testing certification in Italy, becoming a national science and technology oriented small and medium-sized enterprise, high-tech enterprise, Hubei Province specialized and innovative "little giant", Hubei Province science and technology innovation "new species" enterprise - Gazelle Enterprise, and the establishment unit of Hubei Province Nonwoven Fabric Technology Innovation Center.

The breakthrough of the point also stems from strong thrust. In recent years, our city has taken the creation of a national innovative county (city) as the main line, continuously improved the innovation system, built innovation platforms, vigorously introduced and cultivated technical talents, and achieved fruitful results in scientific and technological innovation. There are currently 130 high-tech enterprises and 264 technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises in the city. 13 enterprises have become "gazelle" enterprises in the province, and 1 enterprise has been shortlisted for the top 100 high-tech enterprises in the province; The R&D investment of the whole society has reached 1.222 billion yuan, and the number of innovation platforms recognized at or above the provincial level has increased to 84. Last year, the city achieved a high-tech industry output value of over 49.8 billion yuan, an added value of over 13.1 billion yuan, and a technology contract turnover of over 3 billion yuan. It successfully passed the evaluation and acceptance of national innovative counties (cities) and became one of the first 47 innovative counties (cities) in the country.
